Pursuant to HB 493 (2019), O.C.G.A. 8-2-26(g) allows for private plan review and inspections for residential building permits. Local permitting authorities have 30 calendar days to complete plan reviews and 2 business days for inspections. Brock Built Homes Provides Additional Housing for Homeless

Atlanta’s Brock Built Homes joined HomeAid Atlanta and Making A Way Housing Inc. Thursday to cut the ribbon on the renovation of an eight-unit apartment building that adds 16 new beds for homeless Atlanta residents. As the HomeAid Atlanta builder captain on the project, Brock Built also painted the exterior, installed new doors and windows, and added interior finishes including low-maintenance laminate flooring; updated kitchen appliances, plumbing and light fixtures; and a new roof and HVAC system.
